"We've decided to pass on this story. There's some great world building and the writing is engaging. The action moves a bit too quickly toward the end. I think another few pages to ease the reader into the crisis would strengthen the story. I very seldom find myself wanting more words and I think this is a credit to your skill as writer."
It's a rejection, but the best possible kind. Second one I've gotten this week with good suggestions for revisions. Crap. So much stuff to revise! |
